This Automatic level Pentax AP-281 has a rugged magnetically dampened compensator that automatically establishes and holds your line of sight - within a ±10 minutes of level. Once set up, the precision compensator works continuously, automatically adjusting to keep the line of sight level. For continuous trouble-free performance, a compensator lockout device protects this important component during transport.The superior optical system includes a focusing eyepiece and broad field of view. The larger objective lens allows more light for a sharper, truly exceptional image. An infinite tangent screw and 0-360° horizontal scale offer added convenience.
