The X-Series GNSS Engine
The 1760-channel X-Series GNSS engine is designed to improve the surveyor’s ability to measure in more places and to reach higher precision. Four enhancement of X-Series: “Multipath Effect Mitigation”, “Electromagnetic Interference Mitigation”, “Anti-Vibration Shock”, “Protection Against Ionospheric Disturbances”.
New Radio, Farlink Tech.
Farlink technology is developed to send large numbers of data and avoid data loss. This new protocol improves the signal-catching sensitivity from -110db to -117db, so K7X can transmit to 10 km away with only 1-watt power consumption.
kFill, Save RTK Correction Signal Loss
Kolida’s kFill technology is able to provide a 5-minute sustainable high-accuracy service during temporary RTK or VRS signal coverage outages. After the correction data signal recovers, the receiver will switch to real-time correction data connection seamlessly.
Down to 4-10 cm Positioning by L-band
Thanks to the newly developed BDS correction service, K7X is able to receive B2b signals via L-band and perform a single point positioning precisely without a base station. It is a great help to surveyors who work in particularly difficult areas. This service is available in 2022 in the Asian-Pacific region.
Constantly Upgraded Tilt Sensor
KOLIDA’s 3rd generation tilt sensor “M8” integrates Inertial Measurement Unit with Electronic Bubble. The E-Bubble can directly display on the software if the pole is vertical. The point will be recorded automatically when the pole is leveled. The tilt angle is up to 60 degrees, accuracy is down to 2cm.
Working Continuously for Up to 20 Hours
Thanks to the low-consumption operation system design, K7X can work up to 15-20 hours in RTK rover mode, and up to 20 hours in static mode. Type-C USB port is onboard now. A reinforced battery compartment has been designed for K58plus, there are three times protection to prevent the battery “drop off”.
